Our repaired rudder works well, but we cannot risk to take it offshore. It’s obious that we cannot just buy a new one and we have to produce it…

We are still stuck in Wilmington and it looks like we are going to stay here one more week because it takes long time to manufacture new rudders and order the parts for motor… fortunately George arrived and he takes us to interesting spots here…
We decided to translate the articles to English in a shorter informational way from now on – if anybody is interested in more interesting reading, let us know :)
There are no sidewalks in USA but bus drivers are great
We are still waiting in the marina without showers and laundry for our friend who will help us to repair the boat – there are no problems, just solutions… I don’t know after how many days, but sun is shining again – the plan for today: city center and battleship.

Sail from Cape May to Wilmington
Ve stayed in Cape May couple more days waiting for better weather, we sailed whole night in big atlantic waves, went through lakes, rivers and endless canals of intercoastal waterway and at the end also sun shined and got warmer….

Now we are in Cape May harbor waiting for the hurricane Sandy… our sailing so far was good but it is a little slower than expected – we will write about it something more soon :)
